Viva La E-book Revolution

You are no doubt aware that there is a revolution taking place in the world of e-books. E-book readers such as the Amazon Kindle, the Barnes and Noble Nook, Kobo and of course Apple's platform, the ibook app, amongst many others are fuelling an insatiable appetite for content.
Since the launch of the Amazon Kindle with its ink screen technology, there has been a huge increase in the number of e-books purchased. Amazon announced in May 2011 that e-book sales had outstripped printed books. Amazon said that the pace of U.S. book sales in 2011 was the fastest the company has seen in more than a decade.
Amazon triggered a snowball effect in terms of e-book popularity with the launch of the Kindle in 2007 which allows people to buy and download e-books on demand from the Kindle marketplace, read them in any location and share this content on other devices.
Amazon is the ideal marketing machine to publish onto, purely based on its size and infrastructure of 275 million registered buyers. They will market your content for you, offering it to buyers with similar items and email the purchasers of your content every time you add new e-books, guides and reports.
For Internet Marketers this provides a massive opportunity to get content in front of the eyes of millions of potential prospects.
You can offer information on specific niches by bundling up your content as an ebook or even publish your blog as an ebook. With e-publishing anyone can publish their content providing it meets certain guidelines. You could also create a free version of your book that can act as a lead generator for related products or services.
