There is no one best way in which you could promote your blog; rather, there is a bunch of different ways to promote that all yield a result when put together, and something that can give your advertising a bit of an extra push is referred to as guest posting.
When you are guest posting on other blogs you are basically making a post about a certain topic which pertains to that blog, on that blog… in exchange, you get to leave a URL leading back to your website which is quite an effective method of promotion that offers many advantages, yet a few rules need to be respected.
First of all, never make a low quality post or put up something completely unrelated, as not only will your post be deleted but your reputation will also end up being damaged in the eyes of those who had the time to read it.
Second of all, writing a guest post is a perfect chance to set yourself up as an authority figure when it comes to a certain topic, which is the main reason people should visit your site after they read the article; don’t mess this chance up by writing poorly or about a subject you are not familiar with.
Third of all, you need to make sure that the URL you leave is related to the topic which you are discussing; it doesn’t matter how much of an expert you are about the concerned subject if your blog has nothing to do with it.
Finally, you should look for blogs that have a high pagerank and receive heavy traffic rather than lesser ones as not only will more people be able to read your post, but the backlinks leading to your website from it will also be ranked higher by the search engines.

–How to Create a Screen Capture Video to Give Away
One of the best and easiest ways to show someone how to perform a task online is by the use of screen capture software.
Instead of having to write down instructions or use screenshots with captions, you know have the ability to make a recording and upload it.
Creating screen capture videos may sound intimidating to a lot of people, however it doesn’t have to be that hard.
To start off, you need a piece of screen capture software.
The best place to start is with Camtasia Studio from Techsmith.
This is the premiere screen capture software.
The problem is that it costs around $300.
The good news is that they provide you with a 30-trial to try the software out.
I recommend that you take advantage of the trial and get the software and create as many videos as you need before the trial runs out.
If you’re looking for a free alternative, Camstudio is the way to go.
While it might not provide all of the tools of Camtasia, it’s a great resource for someone on a limited budget.
The next thing you need is a “lava” mic.
This is a small, cheap microphone that you can find just about anywhere electronic goods are sold.
This will help increase the audio of your video and make it so people will get the clear sound they’re looking for.
After you’ve created your video, you’ll have the ability to host it on your site or use Youtube.
Most people now opt to use Youtube because they’ll also get free traffic from people that find their video.
Plus with Camtasia it makes it extremely easy to upload your video to Youtube to start getting traffic right away.
Another feature is the ability to use little captions if you don’t want to buy a mic or you’re worried about your voice.
You’ll be able to add these captions along with each video sequence.
If you’re looking to show someone how to do something on their computer or online, you can’t go wrong by creating a screen capture video.
