If you want to develop your voice as a writer, the first thing you are going to have to do is determine the types of emotions you are going to want to convey and start writing your text based on that; after having tried out various styles you will find one that suits you better than the others.
The second thing you need to do in order to develop your voice is to practice writing much more often. Write about anything and always try to adhere to your style; the more you practice writing the better your ability to express your ideas will become.
Another way of developing your voice would involve looking at the works of some blog writers which you admire and take various pointers from them; remember though that your aim is to create your own unique style so be very careful not to take too much from someone, or else you will simply be labeled as a wannabe.
If you are having trouble finding the proper words to express your ideas, then the best thing you could do is simply write everything down the way you would explain to someone; this will allow you to easily get your ideas down on paper while making
them easy to understand.
Finally, the development of your own style will depend on the life and experiences you have had; you should try to include some of your own opinions and experiences into the articles you write as it will not only distinguish you from run-of-the-mill writers, but it will also allow your audience to connect with you much more easily.

Keyword research is as important as any other facet of Internet marketing, especially if your Internet marketing strategy involves development of a website around a specific niche and leaving it on its own to get residual income.
There are many online tools available in order to conduct keyword research, but nothing is as prominent as the Google Keyword Tool.
The Adwords Keyword Tool is a free online tool provided by Google that lets visitors find out the demand and monthly searches for a particular keyword on Google.
You can easily determine the keyword volume of a niche using Google Keyword Tool.
You can just put in any keyword that you wish, and you will be shown the important stats, along with the stats for related keywords.
Most single-term keywords are highly popular and overly competitive.
Competing for first-page supremacy for these terms become more and more difficult as the popularity goes higher.
That’s why it’s more productive to target long-tail keywords, or those that are specific enough to have a significant demand but are not too competitive in terms of websites trying to rank for them.
The key here is to find the perfect balance between the two factors.
Many users might have been misled when conducting their keyword search because the Google Keyword Tool is set to Broad Search by default.
This counts searches that contain subsets of the keywords but not the entire phrase itself.
When making your keyword research, make sure that you check the Exact search option, which typically trims down the demand to realistic levels.
You can also trim down the keyword demand to a specific location if you are targeting selected markets.
And when you are done, download all the keywords to an Excel spread sheet.
The Google Keyword Tool is only for initial niche research. You can further enhance your research with the complete data that you take from the tool.
